Meetings
We held our first meeting May 8th, 2008, with 5 moms and 6 children attending! We had a wonderful time discussing the benefits of breastfeeding, sharing stories, and answering questions. The kids had a good time playing together during the meeting. Since then we have been meeting regularly, twice a month.
Upcoming meeting dates: July 23rd, *August 13th, *August 27th, September 10th, September 24th
*One or both of the August meetings may be cancelled. My 2nd baby is due August 6th. I intend to contine holding meetings until I go into labor, and will resume as soon as I am reasonably recovered. Please make sure you are on my email list so you will get meeting reminders and cancellation notices.

Activities
Our meetings are fairly informal and relaxed. The first portion of the meeting will be loosely structured with discussion topics and other fun activities. The later part of the meeting will allow time for attending moms to share their experiences and raise questions or concerns they may have.
Who Can Come?
If you are breastfeeding, would like to be breastfeeding, are pregnant, or hope to become pregnant in the future, we would love to see you at our meetings! Please feel free to bring your babies and pre-schoolers - they can play while we talk and you can nurse and care for them as necessary.
